What happens when your plan ends — or you hit your goal
Most fitness apps throw confetti and then leave you wondering what to do next. Strathlon treats the finish line as a decision point, not a dead end — and it handles two different moments: reaching your goal, and reaching the end of your plan's weeks.
When you hit your target weight
The moment you reach your goal weight, Strathlon celebrates — and then asks you what's next. You get a clear choice instead of being left to quietly keep dieting past the finish line:
- Lock it in with Maintenance — move into a structured maintenance phase with a gradual reverse diet, so you hold your result rather than bouncing.
- Set a new goal — pick a fresh target and Strathlon rebuilds around it.
- Keep going — carry on as you are if you've got more in mind.
The important part: this appears the moment you hit your goal — whether that's right at the end of a plan or partway through it. You're never left dieting past the point you meant to stop.
When your plan's weeks run out
Plans are time-based, so eventually you reach the last week. Instead of just ending, the finish screen looks at how you actually did and offers the right next step:
- Hit your goal? It celebrates and points you to Maintenance.
- Close but not quite there? It offers to keep going with a fresh block sized to exactly what's left — recalculating your calories and tightening the training so the remaining distance is realistic.
- Stalled? It's honest about it, and offers to extend and tighten the plan, or to ask your AI coach what to change.
Throughout your plan, the same honesty applies day to day. Your programme advances through its phases as you actually train — and pauses if life gets in the way — rather than marching on regardless. Going away for a while? Mark a break and the plan holds its place; tick off any training you did while away and it still counts.
None of this is automatic or forced — every step is a choice you make. Strathlon's job is to make sure the choice actually shows up at the right moment.
